The Challenge

With high employee turnover and seasonal hiring cycles, the hotel group struggled to maintain consistent training across its properties. New hires often joined mid-season or had to fill in for multiple roles, but the existing training process relying on shadowing and printed manuals was slow, inconsistent, and difficult to scale.

There was no reliable way to ensure staff had fully understood procedures or to measure training progress. Managers couldn’t identify knowledge gaps or confidently assess employee readiness. Each hotel also had slightly different standards and workflows, making it hard for employees to transition between locations without retraining, leading to service errors and missed opportunities for internal promotion.

Our Approach

We began with in-depth discovery workshops to understand the operational differences and training needs across the hotel group. Each department had its own procedures and service standards. We worked closely with managers to map out the critical knowledge required for each role and identify where traditional training was falling short.

Our goal was to create a centralized, flexible training platform that could adapt to each hotel’s needs while standardizing core expectations. We prioritized speed, structure, and visibility designing a system where content could be created or generated using AI, learning paths tailored by role, and employee progress easily tracked. By focusing on mobile-first access, we ensured seasonal and rotating staff could train from anywhere, at any time.

The Solution

We developed a custom, mobile-first training platform designed specifically for the hospitality industry's fast-paced, high-churn environment. Hotel managers can now create structured learning paths tailored to specific roles, locations, and departments. They can upload existing training materials or instantly generate new content using AI to fill knowledge gaps or onboard new hires quickly.

The platform delivers training through interactive lessons, quizzes, and AI-powered roleplay scenarios making learning more engaging and practical. Managers gain real-time visibility into each employee’s progress, performance, and knowledge gaps, enabling them to intervene early, support growth, and ensure service standards are consistently met.

To support on-the-go access, we built a companion mobile app that allows employees to complete training directly from their phones whether they’re new hires just joining mid-season or experienced staff rotating between hotel properties.
